Lex Zooz is an Estonian artist based in Lisbon. Born in 1986 in a small beautiful town Haapsalu. Since 2016 Lex working as an urban mural artist & designer of various projects. He links his own artworks with nature elements, mainly with the sea life and water manifestations. He is mostly inspired by natural phenomena such as the northern lights, dawn, sunset, fog, rain to create is own universe of ethereal landscapes and parallel realities. Stylizing them with his unique decorative - futuristic style and using a harmonious palette of colors. Lex has a higher fine art education and has extensive experience working with decorative applied arts. Based on the classical academic school of painting, Lex creates artwork using personal search and analysis of visual philosophy, which gives to each work uniqueness and originality. Seeking the boundaries of visual art, Lex has done paintings in a variety of formats from catamaran yachts to 8 storey buildings. Participated in various festivals, exhibitions and made murals in countries such as Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Austria, Malta, Lebanon, France, Spain, Portugal and also exhibited in Austin / Texas at the Volcom Garden Art Gallery.
